ReverseEngineering.com’s CAD native plug-in integrates digitized or scanned points with SolidWorks. Simultaneously connect portable 3D measuring/digitizing CMM Arms, Laser Trackers and Laser Scanners such as the FARO and ROMER products to automatically measure and capture 2D and 3D features, including complex 3D surface shapes from laser scanners.

All digitized alignments are stored and can be recalled on demand if the system is shutdown and restarted so part repeatable digitizer accuracy error is not introduced during the digitizing session. Part-to-Cad user defined co-ordinates, make it possible to align the digitizer to any user drawn coordinate system in Solidworks and do Go-No-Go inspection.
